Saturdays 10am – 1pm November – December
Join watercolorist Beth Matlock for a fun art program just for you – all materials included.
November 14 – Watercolor Mixed Media This fun class will mix several mediums including watercolor for a colorful end result. Students work with pens, paper, paint pens and watercolor to make original art work – and learn new processes along the way.
November 21 – Watercolor Holiday Cards Learn new techniques and create one-of-a-kind art on cards perfect for gift giving for the holidays. Learn new techniques to paint up to 4 holiday cards.
December 5 – Watercolor on Pottery Painting on ceramics is similar and different than painting on paper and Beth will offer a few new processes. Students work on both a 6” x 6” tile and choose an additional ceramic bisque item from the studio (mugs, vases, and bowls). Artworks fired and returned in about one weeks time.
December 12 – Watercolor Mixed Media This fun class will mix several mediums including watercolor for a colorful end result. Students work with pens, paper, paint pens and watercolor to make original art work – and learn new processes along the way.
December 19 – Watercolor Crash Course 101 Students will get a crash course of watercolor techniques: learning about wet on wet, wet on dry, salt, layering, and more. Everyone creates watercolor artwork and take home samples of techniques with notes for future creating.
